Professor David Graves gave a lecture on the topic "Plasma Medicine Mechanisms" on the morning of May 21st. Professor Graves vividly described the history of plasma biomedicine and detailedly demonstrated the effect of plasma on some diseases, after which he introduced the action mechanism of plasma in the field of biomedicine and pointed out the response mechanism of active particles generated by the plasma in the application of wound infection and tumor detection.
After the lecture, the teachers and students had an in-depth communication and discussion with Professor Graves on the mechanism of the plasma in biomedicine. The academic atmosphere was very strong.
Prof. David Graves is a tenured professor at the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of the University of California, Berkeley. He is the distinguished professor at Lam Research, a world-renowned semiconductor company. He has been engaged in discharge plasma technology and applications and semiconductor research for more than 30 years. The research direction includes discharge mechanism and simulation, plasma chemical and physical diagnosis, dust plasma, plasma stability, plasma electromagnetic interaction, plasma and organic material interaction, high vacuum electron beam system, plasma application in biology, food and agriculture, etc.
